About the role
This role plays an integral role in supporting project delivery by taking on increased ownership of coordination, financial tracking, and project processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage procurement and submittal workflows
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource and mentor to PE I team members and Project Coordinators
- Manage Day 2 items with oversight from Project Manager
- Create and manage procurement log
- Reconcile financials in Procore each month
- Manage MSA/work order process
- Prepare clear, comprehensive, and properly structured RFIs
- Manage closeout documentation in Procore
- Develop accurate project schedules
- Set up new projects in Procore
- Manage Procore data management
- Document all meetings
- Manage the submittal and procurement process
- Manage punch list documentation
- Run meetings both virtually and in-person
- Set up electronic Superintendent Binder in Procore
- Create OAC agendas
- Manage Day 2 items with oversight from Project Manager
- Manage closeout documentation in Procore
- Distribute project documentation to and from all relevant parties
- Develop strong proficiency in estimating processes and practices
- Take ownership of urgent issues
Requirements
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Project Engineer in commercial interior construction
- Experience in preconstruction and estimating required
- Proficient in managing RFIs, submittals, insurance and contract administration, and document coordination
- Strong technical skills and the ability to learn new systems and tools quickly
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- High level of engagement and an empathetic, people-centered approach to teamwork and leadership
- Demonstrates a strong customer service mindset, with working knowledge of customer service principles and best practices
Qualifications
