Project Engineer

Primary Objectives For The Position

• Projects Champion safety
• Work with the operations management team to develop and prepare concepts, scope, GA, and detail drawings for new plant and optimization projects
• Develop project budget and schedule to meet target completion dates using internal and external resources where applicable
• Aid in the development of, and adherence to, design standards
• Follow through on project completion and ensure objectives are met
• Create and maintain the project schedule
• Provide project updates to company leadership
• Pre-qualify contractors

Preferred Experience And Skills

• Bachelor’s degree with Civil or Structural Engineering background
• At least 5 years of project engineering experience and related experience in a heavy industrial or mining environment
• In-depth knowledge with aggregates processing equipment, pumping equipment, and fundamental electrical knowledge is desired
• Analytical, data focused, and metrics driven
• Ability to communicate effectively at the field level and with management
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Detail orientated. Solves problems in a timely fashion
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze options and present a recommendation based on quantitative information
• Microsoft Office products, Outlook, Excel and Word, and AutoCAD

Work Environment

• Primarily office with some field work in a manufacturing environment with moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, elevated noise levels, and dusty conditions
• Periodic travel and overnight required

Salary Range

Salary Range: $90,000 - $135,000 annually, commensurate with experience
