Project Engineer

About the role

A well-established, employee-focused General Contractor is looking to add a Project Engineer to its growing Ohio team. Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with the successful delivery of commercial construction projects.
• Cook up RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Aid with project scheduling, procurement, and cost tracking.
• Collaborate closely with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule.
• Attend project meetings and maintain accurate project records.
• Help ensure projects meet quality, safety, and budget expectations.
• Aid with project closeout, punch lists, and final documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Construction experience as a Project Engineer or similar role.
• Commercial construction experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction software is advantageous.
