Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage engineering projects, ensuring all phases—from planning to execution—are completed on time, within budget, and to specification.
- Review and evaluate project proposals, objectives, and plans to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with project goals.
- Create project schedules, allocate resources efficiently, and assign responsibilities to meet project milestones.
- Design, conduct, and analyze tests to measure project progress, performance, and compliance with design specifications.
- Ensure projects are completed within budget constraints and recommend adjustments to plans or schedules as needed to meet project objectives.
- Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services.
- Provide regular project status updates and detailed progress reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks or issues and implement mitigation strategies to address challenges and keep projects on track.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant state, federal, and industry regulations, ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and recommend process or design improvements based on project feedback.
Qualifications (Required)
- Education: Bachelor's degree.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience.
- Experience working with external vendors and managing cross-functional teams.
- Previous experience in a leadership role, with demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP).
