Project Engineer

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education.
• 7+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Prior technical project leadership experience.
• Prior project management experience and Control Account Management (CAM) experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work with technical leads to manage cost, schedule, and technical scope.

Join us as a Project Engineer for the FBM Tactical team where you will be involved in planning and executing avionics work scope and program execution. Ensure that projects are completed on cost and schedule following established procedures, schedules, and work plans Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, Integration and completion of Engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility Ensure Engineering is coordinated across Program and suppliers

Desired Skills

• Bachelor's degree (engineering field or technical discipline preferred).
• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very sophisticated problems and implement constructive change.
• Experience in project management principals (Cost/Schedule/Technical).
• Knowledge of program lifecycle and how early achievements may drive future costs.
• Experience using JIRA or Version 1 or similar tools for project planning and tracking.
• Experience throughout engineering lifecycle (system definition, design, build, test and operational deployment).
• Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in Business Rhythm creation.
• Demonstrated experience presentation abilities.
• Demonstrated experience organizational skills.

Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
