What you bring to the table
Envision seeks a Project Engineer to join our growing team. As a Project Engineer, you will support our project management team by coordinating and maintaining project documents, assisting with project planning and scheduling, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. You will also collaborate with team members, trade partners, consultants, and clients to ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities
- Manage and understand construction drawings, specifications, and other project documents
- Create and keep updated logs for submittals, procurement, drawings, specifications, RFIs, and meeting minutes in Procore
- Regularly prepare and distribute meeting minutes
- Review and expedite shop drawings and submittals efficiently
- Help gather all necessary documentation for project closeout
- Ensure OSHA and Envision safety standards are followed
- Work well with team members, following directions and completing tasks
- Maintain professionalism and build positive relationships with co-workers, trade partners, consultants, and clients
- Embrace and apply Envision's Core Values in all aspects of work

- Support the entire Envision team wherever needed
Knowledge & Skill Requirements
- 0-2 years of relevant construction experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred
- Additional acceptable educational/experience credentials are: Associate’s degree and/or relevant construction experience AND/OR Internship with a commercial construction or architectural company
- Fundamental understanding of project documents
- Experience with the following software is preferred: Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, Procore, Bluebeam, Structionsite, and Revit or similar 3D modeling software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Effective time management skills
Physical Demands
- Frequently operates a computer and other office productivity equipment
- Occasionally ascends/descends ladders and stairs
- Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions
- May move items up to 50Ibs
- Constantly communicates with subcontractors, vendors, and other members of the project team
- Able to adhere to consistent and timely attendance
