Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Support project teams in preconstruction efforts, project start-up, documentation, contract administration (subcontracts, purchase orders, and owner contracts), site orientations, schedule management, reporting, material procurement, field supervision, and project closeout
- Tracking log creation and utilization for items including, safety, procurement, submittals, RFI’s, productivity tracking, QA/QC, and change management
- Participate in project meetings, create agendas, take meeting minutes, and facilitate project walk throughs
- Review submittals and shop drawings for accuracy and expedite for timely review
- Initiate, prepare, review, track, and distribute RFIs
- Aid Superintendent with non-conformance issues, special inspections, safety, compliance, and permit and certificate of occupancy processes
- Track and review certified payroll reports
- Management of drawings/specifications and keep revisions current
- Aid in preparation of bid packages and requests for proposals (RFP)
- Track and inspect project deliveries
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering related field and/or minimum of 3-years experience in a construction related support role
- Proficient with MS Office Suite, MS Project or P6 (scheduling), Bluebeam, Procore or Sage (construction management), and PowerPoint or Prezi (presenting)
- Solid organization, written and verbal communication skills
- Efficient in time management, the ability to multi-task and adhere to/meet deadlines along with a strong attention to detail
- Must have a strong customer-oriented approach and demonstrated professional demeanor
- Current driver’s license and insurable driving record
