About the role
The Project Engineer will be joining our Operations team on our project in Phoenix, AZ. This is a full-time, in-person position.
Responsibilities
- On-site trade coordination and management
- Coordination of material design, fabrication, delivery and installation
- Ongoing interaction with field supervision
- Management of cost and design issues (change orders, RFI’s, document updates, etc.)
- Other responsibilities focused on overall project management and success
Qualifications
- Read and understand Construction Design Documents and Specifications
- Perform construction cost estimates and quantity surveys for various scopes of work
- Overall trade management and coordination
- Some level of exposure to BIM
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a construction/engineering related field OR 3+ years of equivalent work experience
- Outstanding communication and time management skills
- Computer skills
- The ability to work in a collaborative environment
Skills
- Ability to read and understand Construction Design Documents and Specifications
- Proficiency in performing construction cost estimates and quantity surveys
- Experience with overall trade management and coordination
- Knowledge of BIM
