Project Engineer

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects.
• Monitor project schedules and budgets to support on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure effective execution.
• Support site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Absorb and review project proposals, contracts, and change orders.
• Cook up and procure materials and equipment needed for project completion.
• Maintain communication with clients, providing progress updates and addressing concerns.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and meeting minutes.
• Absorb and resolve project-related issues and conflicts in the field.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and confirm adherence to design requirements.
• Support management of subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely, quality work.
• Absorb and identify project risks, then implement mitigation strategies.
• Promote and support adherence to all safety protocols on the job site.
• Participate in project meetings, providing updates and insights on progress and challenges.
• Absorb and assist with project closeout and evaluation to ensure quality and client satisfaction.
