Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Performs all work according to OSHA and H&K Safety policies
- Prepares thorough site analysis to determine allowable density and layout constraints based upon municipal land use ordinances and site-specific features
- Prepares horizontal and vertical alignment of street layout and profiles
- Prepares detailed grading plans
- Prepares thorough stormwater management design based upon municipal land use ordinances and/or State best management practices/regulations
- Prepares thorough water supply and sewage facilities design
- Prepares erosion and sedimentation control/NPDES plans and post construction stormwater management designs in accordance with State best management practices/regulations
- Prepares utility design and manage utility coordination for various land development projects
- Manage sub-consultants related to geotechnical, wetlands, traffic, etc.
- Travel to field, project, Township, etc. meetings to communicate project design aspects with Project Managers, Engineers, Township officials and Clients
- Able to write comprehensive and detailed narratives and various forms of correspondence
Required Skills, Education, And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university OR one year of related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
- Ability to read blueprints and job-related documents
- Strong knowledge of stormwater, erosion, and sediment control
- Strong knowledge of water and sewer design principles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to interpret and apply municipal land use ordinances
- Basic computer skills including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Experience using AutoCAD 2017 (or later version) and AutoCAD Civil 3D 2017 (or more recent version)
- Experience with Hydraflow
- Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed
- Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
Preferred Skills, Education, And Experience
- Two years of relevant experience and/or training
- Experience using VTPS, UHS, or other relevant safety certifications

- Occasionally required to Stand, walk, sit
- Use hands to finger, handle, feel
- Regularly required to talk and hear
- Vision abilities include Close Distance Color
- Able to adjust focus
Work Environment
- Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions
- Noise level is usually moderate
- Hours regularly exceed 40 hours a week
