Job Description

EBAD is seeking a Project Engineer with experience working in a manufacturing environment. This position is located in Graham, Kentucky.

Responsibilities

  • Manages execution of assigned tasks and communicates status of schedule and budget to team and program/functional management.
  • Actively works and tracks status of multiple tasks on multiple programs, as well as progression of technical tasks being worked by other team members.
  • Reviews the budgeted dollars for allocated tasks to evaluate budget risk throughout the duration of the project.
  • Reviews the project schedule to evaluate schedule risk throughout the duration of the project and develop counter measures to recover schedule.
  • Develops building layouts and manufacturing cell design including tooling, machinery and equipment.
  • Works with contractors to create building design packages to be used for construction of new facilities.
  • Creates scope of work plans for facility infrastructure to include electrical, water, and communications/data needs to support new facility construction.
  • Participates in technical compliance and risk assessments.
  • Tracks status and ensures completion of milestones and tasks in support of project plans.
  • Utilizes lean manufacturing tools to support process improvements and participates in continuous improvement events as needed.

Requirements

  • A BS/MS in an engineering discipline, preferably mechanical engineering or manufacturing engineering and manufacturing or related engineering experience in multi-part mechanisms and mechanical assemblies.
  • Desired experience in civil and mechanical engineering elements, CAD, 3-D modeling, assembly creation, drawings and GD&T.
  • Experience with DoD 4145.26-M compliance.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
  • Formal problem analysis and resolution.
  • Working with energetic products and processes.
  • Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing practices.
  • Enterprise/Manufacturing Resource Planning (ERP/MRP) systems.
  • MS Office – Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and MS Project.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have a BS/MS in an engineering discipline, preferably mechanical engineering or manufacturing engineering and manufacturing or related engineering experience in multi-part mechanisms and mechanical assemblies.
