Responsibilities
- Perform engineering calculations and produce engineering drawings as needed on variety of water resources related projects
- Conduct business development and project delivery for stormwater and resilience projects
- Perform field work whenever required
- Hydraulic & Hydrologic modeling as needed
- Auxiliary in writing reports, presentations, marketing, business development and other related items
- Develop design of various stormwater management, ecosystem restoration and flood risk reduction components such as detention systems, channels, tide gates, and others using local, state and federal standards
- Act as a mentor to junior engineers
- Serve as a Technical Lead, Engineer of Record, Task Manager or Project Manager on variety of water resources projects
Requirements
- B.S. Degree or higher in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related Engineering field), with emphasis in stormwater conveyance, stream restoration, green infrastructure or water resources
- 5 - 8 years related experience
- Knowledge/experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, ArcGIS and computer models such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, Infoworks, MIKE
- Knowledge of USACE, NYSDEC, FEMA, AWWA standards and procedures for design
- Prior experience with Infoworks and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is preferred
- Professional Engineer or ability to obtain Professional Engineering license in 6 months to a year
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe software

Pay
The projected range for this position is $100,188 - $128,813 annually.
