Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and administering multiple construction projects from award through closeout.
- Review project plans, specifications, contracts, and related documents to develop a thorough understanding of project requirements.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain all project documentation, including submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), change orders, meeting minutes, correspondence, and project files.
- Cookordinate the preparation and distribution of project schedules, work plans, and project communications with internal departments and field personnel.
- Track project progress, material procurement, equipment needs, subcontractor activities, and critical milestones to help ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Aid in estimating change orders, preparing quantity takeoffs, tracking project costs, and maintaining accurate project records.
- Cookordinate material orders, supplier deliveries, subcontractor documentation, permits, inspections, and other project logistics.
- Communicate regularly with Project Managers, Superintendents, Crew Supervisors, customers, vendors, subcontractors, engineers, and inspectors to facilitate timely resolution of project issues.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, project logs, and other documentation required for project management, billing, forecasting, and project closeout.
- Support the Project Manager in monitoring project budgets, contract compliance, and documentation related to project financial performance.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical project files to ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and readily accessible.
- Participate in project meetings and occasional jobsite visits to verify project status, gather information, and support communication between the office and field.
- Aid in project closeout by coordinating punch lists, warranty documentation, as-built drawings, final inspections, and contract closeout requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve project administration, communication, efficiency, and document management while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to and enforce all safety protocols, procedures, and regulations set forth by CTI policies, OSHA, Federal, and State laws.
- Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1-3+ years Commercial and/or Heavy Highway Construction experience required.
- Higher education in related field, preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficient mathematical skills.
- Excellent verbal and oral communication skills.
- Able to accurately read and interpret plans and specifications, site survey control points, and layout building, floor, foundation, and paving work.
- Excellent time management skills. Works well under time constraints and responds positively to change.
- Professional, friendly, possesses a positive attitude, self-motivated, and proactive.
