About the role
Firm specializing in real estate project management seeks a Project Engineer for a manufacturing facility project in southeastern, South Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the Project Manager by reviewing and processing submittals
- Reviewing and processing contractor schedule submissions
- Monitoring construction work
- Reviewing requisitions for payment
- Evaluating change order proposals
- Managing small projects as assigned by the Project Manager
Requirements
- At least five years’ experience as a Project Engineer
- Experience as a Project Engineer on large, complicated building projects
- Experience on at least one project involving the construction or renovation of a manufacturing facility
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Experience utilizing construction management, estimating, and scheduling software
Qualifications
- Degree in architecture or engineering
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
