Responsibilities
- Aid the Project Manager/Project Managers in the pre-project planning process.
- Support the development and maintenance of budgets by reviewing field timesheets, material invoices, and monitoring project progress.
- Prepare and manage purchase orders, purchase order modifications, subcontracts, subcontract modifications, and requests for information (RFI’s).
- Prepare and manage change orders in Accubid Change Order Pro.
- Update construction documents and distribute them to vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and comprehend project plans, specifications, and contract requirements, and update and modify these documents as necessary.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations, codes, and industry standards.
- Travel to conduct site visits to monitor progress and maintain quality control.
- Foster and maintain relationships with General Contractors, engineers, designers, and other external project team members.
- Assist the Project Manager and Superintendents with material procurement and coordination.
Qualifications
- A Construction Management degree is helpful but not required, or relevant field experience is a plus.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in electrical construction is preferred.
- Understanding of electrical systems, codes, and industry standards is a plus.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
- The ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings is necessary.
- A strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are required.
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with various stakeholders is important.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed (within Southern California) are required.
Pay
USD $80,000.00 - USD $105,000.00 /Yr.
