SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Project Engineer to join our team. This role involves supporting our sales representatives, processing in-house projects, project related customer communications, assisting production engineering team, and pricing new equipment. Experience with SolidWorks is highly preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales Support:
    • Collaborate with sales representatives to understand customer needs and project requirements.
    • Review and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
    • Cook with internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
    • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Order Processing:
    • Manage the flow of in-house projects from initial inquiry through to completion.
    • Ensure all orders are processed in a timely manner and meet customer specifications.
    • Oversee the documentation and administrative aspects of order processing.
  • Customer Communication:
    • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing timely and accurate information.
    • Address any issues or concerns raised by customers, ensuring their satisfaction.
    • Maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as the main point of contact for project-related queries.
  • Production Engineering Assistance:
    • Collaborate with production engineers to ensure projects are designed and manufactured to meet customer expectations.
    • Assist in the creation and review of technical drawings, ensuring all designs are feasible and efficient.
    • Provide technical support in troubleshooting and resolving any challenges that arise during production.
  • Equipment Pricing:
    • Develop accurate pricing models for new equipment, considering material costs, labor, and overhead.
    • Work with the procurement team to ensure competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.
    • Provide pricing information to the sales team in a timely manner.

EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or a related field.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with dust collection systems, ventilation, or a related industry is highly desirable.

SKILLS

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • SolidWorks experience is preferred.
  • Technical knowledge in ventilation systems and dust collection.
  • Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
