About the role

RayzeBio is seeking a Project Engineer to support the ongoing expansion of our Indianapolis operations. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer seeking to build on prior experience by taking on greater responsibility in innovative drug product development and radiopharmaceutical manufacturing projects.

Responsibilities

  • Aid in coordinating and executing capital and facility expansion projects related to radiopharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Maintain project schedules and budgets, supporting timely completion of key tasks.
  • Apply fundamental mechanical, electrical, and industrial engineering principles to all assigned projects.
  • Contribute to process automation projects to improve operational efficiency.
  • Participate in integrating engineering and business systems in accordance with BMS corporate standards.
  • Coordinate with vendors, partners, and service providers to meet project objectives.
  • Promote compliance with EHS and Radiation Safety programs and foster a culture of safety.
  • Review, draft, and revise technical documentation (SOPs, URSs, forms) as needed.
  • Travel up to 15% may be required to support project activities.
  • Provide on-call support for critical equipment or system emergencies during off-hours as necessary.

Requirements

BS degree in Engineering required. Minimum 3 years of engineering experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. Project coordination or engineering support experience for capital projects preferred. Ability to work on-site in a radiation-controlled environment.

  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and effective under pressure.
  • Demonstrates a “can-do” attitude and helps foster a culture of responsiveness and positive teamwork.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
