Project Engineer

Your Role & Responsibilities

Responsible for day-to-day and long-term process support and process optimization in all areas of the assigned facilities.

The result should improve process safety, efficiency, reliability (asset integrity), improve product quality, and reduce manufacturing costs.

Assist and manage active projects within Brenntag facilities. Responsible for project layout and scope, adherence to CAPEX budget, project planning and execution, and post audits of projects for ROI verification.

Absorb responsibility for project work when assigned.

Avoid safety, compliance, and regulatory needs for all Brenntag facilities on an as needed basis.

Assist with safety, compliance, and regulatory needs for all Brenntag facilities on an as needed basis.

Assist purchasing (IP) with procurement of equipment and materials and reduction of overall cost.

Your Profile

• Education and Experience:
  • Must have a BS in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical preferred).
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years relative experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Skills:
  • Ability to oversee and manage complex service and repair work of diverse types of electrical and plant equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, sketches, and drawings.
  • Operate a computer and various specified software programs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Must possess or qualify for a TWIC card.
  • Must successfully pass background check and drug screen.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
  • Possess effective communication skills.
• Additional Qualifications:
  • Auto CAD and MS Vizio experience and proficiency is a plus.

Salary

$95,000-$105,000
