About the role
Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) is seeking a Digital Enterprise Project Engineer to support the development of technical scope, requirements, estimates, and schedules for capital investment, test, and maintenance projects for the Digital Enterprise Project Management organization at Arnold Air Force Base, TN.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate engineering deliverables on a project or group of projects for BNH.
- Secure resources needed to complete design activities.
- Communicate information to assist with priority determination by Digital Enterprise Branch Management.
- Guide and direct technical team activities.
- Develop work breakdown structures, Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules, and resource, cost, and budget plans.
- Support Project Control / Digital Enterprise Project Manager in critical path analysis and timeline development.
- Communicate schedule conflicts, resource constraints, and time constraints to the project team.
- Prepare progress reports and standardized reporting procedures.
- Maintain project information and ensure appropriate charge number assignment.
- Act as a technical liaison between the project team, contractor, and government engineering staff.
- Participate in process improvement efforts and document new processes.
- Ensure compliance with company PPE policies.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
- B.S. degree in engineering, computer science, or other engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum 2 years of progressive work experience in design engineering or relevant engineering fields.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive work experience in design engineering or relevant engineering fields.
- Prior experience managing engineering projects and designing systems.
- Current U.S. Citizenship required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or another relevant engineering field from an accredited university program.
- Experience in data analytics roles, including probability analyses, statistical analytics, and large data set analysis.
- Knowledge of data mining, analysis, and collection techniques applied to operations and analysis, especially safety or operations process improvement.
- Experience with statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) and data architecture.
- Experience with machine learning techniques and advanced statistical concepts.
- Coding knowledge and experience with multiple languages.
- Experience with statistical and data mining techniques: GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, text mining, etc.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Skills
- Strong understanding of engineering principles within data centers with Linux and Windows mix environments.
- Experience in data analytics and statistical analysis.
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and their applications.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis.
- Proficiency in statistical and data mining techniques.

Pay
L07: $85,000 - $115,000; L08: $105,000 - $140,000 /year at location Arnold AFB, TN
