Project Engineer

The Project Engineer position is based in New Castle, PA. ArchKey is a leading specialty trade installation and integrated facility service company, focusing on electrical, technology, and specialty systems. Responsibilities

• Keep information, documentation, and schedules accurate and up-to-date.
• Communicate effectively with superintendents, foremen, and customers, ensuring design intent and contract requirements are understood.
• Anticipate and resolve issues proactively to avoid delays or cost overruns.
• Bring curiosity, adaptability, and a strong desire for a long-term career in electrical construction and project management.
• Support project managers and field crews with a positive attitude, fostering a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent field experience).
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in Project Engineering, specifically in the electrical sector.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, experience with Primavera P6, Viewpoint, AutoCAD, Navis, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, or ConEst preferred.
• Electrical Expertise: Understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and lean construction techniques.
• Collaboration & Adaptability: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a constantly changing environment.
• Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Results-Oriented: Self-starter with the ability to thrive under tight deadlines.
