Essential Functions And Abilities Required
- Aid in executing complex projects by feeding critical information to the field (Project Superintendent and Trade Partners).
- Competently interpret plans, specifications, and code to provide support and information to the Project Superintendent to ensure work complies with project design, code, and specifications.
- Support the Project Superintendent with site logistics (trailer, temporary facilities) to ensure the project is set up for success.
- Coordinate and effectively communicate with Project Architects, Engineers, Owners, Subcontractors, and Field Personnel regarding the current project status and critical issues.
- Adhere to organizational processes and recognize quality workmanship.
- Manage and lead the Request for Information (RFI), submittal, and procurement process.
- Prepare and plan for weekly Owner Advisory Committee (OAC), trade, and pre-install meetings, document and distribute meeting minutes weekly.
- Manage, generate, and execute subcontractor and subcontractor change orders, maintain up-to-date project logs including monthly project progress reports and project controls, and manage our construction management software (Procore) and document/drawing management.
- Aid in managing project production and scheduling, including CPM updates, mapping sessions, pull plans, etc., and lead the closeout process including owner training, punch-list, and as-builts.
Education / Experience Required
- A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or engineering is preferred but not required.
- One to three years of experience as a construction Project Engineer, preferably in commercial construction, particularly in Healthcare (OSHPD), Life Sciences, Higher Education, and Office Improvements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), Bluebeam, Project Management Software (Procore), and scheduling software (Microsoft Project).

Compensation
The base pay range for this role is $70,000 – $90,000 per year.
