About the role
The Project Document Control Specialist plays a crucial role in managing project-related documentation, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Transmit project-related documents to customers per contract requirements
- Work closely with Project Managers and internal teams to facilitate effective communication to internal stakeholders and clients
- Oversee the entire project document lifecycle from creation, review, and approval to revision and archival
- Create and maintain project documents and documentation plans
- Number, sort, file, store, and retrieve both electronic and hard copy documents
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with relevant customer requirements, regulatory standards, legal requirements, and internal policies
- Organize and maintain physical and digital records, create templates for future use, and efficiently retrieve documents
Requirements
Close coordination and communication with Calgon and customer Project Managers are essential. Some procurement support is also involved.
Qualifications
- Experience in document control or related field
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
