About the role

We’re partnering with an established construction and restoration company looking for an experienced Project Director to join their team. This is a key leadership role for someone who understands construction from the ground up but also knows how to manage the bigger picture — customers, field teams, subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and the financial success of each project. You’ll oversee multiple residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional projects while serving as a critical connection between the customer, field operations, and internal leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple construction and restoration projects simultaneously
  • Manage projects from initial scope through completion and collection
  • Coordinate Project Managers, subcontractors, field personnel, schedules, and job starts
  • Maintain strong communication with customers, adjusters, consultants, insurance representatives, and internal teams
  • Monitor project scope, budgets, labor, materials, schedules, and overall profitability
  • Provide leadership and direction to keep projects moving on time and within budget
  • Manage project payment terms and help drive collection of outstanding A/R
  • Coordinate emergency restoration services involving water, fire, smoke, and board-up work
  • Oversee permits, inspections, certifications, and project documentation
  • Use Salesforce for project management, forecasting, reporting, work orders, labor, and material tracking
  • Ensure OSHA, EPA, DOT, and company safety requirements are consistently followed
  • Visit active jobsites to evaluate progress, troubleshoot challenges, and support field teams
  • Identify issues early and take ownership of finding solutions

Requirements

  • 3+ years of construction leadership, Superintendent, Project Management, or Project Director experience
  • Strong knowledge of structural construction and multiple phases of the construction process
  • Commercial and residential construction experience preferred
  • Ability to oversee multiple complex projects, teams, and priorities simultaneously
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, labor, and materials
  • Strong customer-facing communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to confidently communicate with insurance representatives, adjusters, consultants, and customers
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Xactimate, and Salesforce
  • Insurance restoration experience is a strong plus
  • Strong understanding of project financials, payment terms, and A/R
  • Ability to work in both an office environment and active jobsites
  • Willingness to travel locally and respond to occasional after-hours or emergency situations
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. and wear a full or half-face respirator when required

Qualifications

  • Current asbestos, lead, and mold certifications
  • IICRC AMRT Certification
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Current environmental physical/medical clearance to wear a respirator
  • Forklift Operator Certification preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required

Pay

$75,000-$90,000 salary DOE

Schedule

Monday-Friday | Full-Time | Some after-hours, weekend, and emergency response availability as needed
