Responsibilities
- Carry out site inspections to evaluate the extent of damage and construction needs.
- Create detailed reconstruction estimates using Xactimate according to carrier guidelines.
- Evaluate and refine scopes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and profitability.
- Identify and document change orders and additional opportunities.
- Support business development by offering technical expertise during client meetings.
- Ensure projects are executed within target margins.
- Oversee project timelines from contract signing to completion.
- Create and manage project schedules, coordinating labor, materials, and subcontractors.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality and progress.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety and company standards.
- Resolve discrepancies, field issues, and customer concerns.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including notes, photos, and reports.
- Monitor and optimize gross profit performance across assigned projects.
- Analyze labor efficiency, subcontractor costs, and material usage.
- Ensure all billable events are accurately recorded and communicated.
- Review budgets and cost reports to prevent margin erosion.
- Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate billing and timely collections.
- Assist in Accounts Receivable efforts for high-priority accounts.
- Act as a senior point of contact for property owners and insurance adjusters.
- Preserve strong relationships with carriers and referral partners.
- Ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
- At least 5 years of construction project management and estimating experience.
- Strong proficiency in Xactimate.
- Proven track record of managing project financial performance.
- In-depth knowledge of residential and commercial building systems.
- Experience supervising and developing team members.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills with carriers.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
Qualifications
- Willingness to lift up to 70 pounds when necessary.
- Ability to navigate active construction sites safely.
- Experience working in various indoor and outdoor conditions.
- Knowledge of required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators.
