Responsibilities

  • Carry out site inspections to evaluate the extent of damage and construction needs.
  • Create detailed reconstruction estimates using Xactimate according to carrier guidelines.
  • Evaluate and refine scopes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and profitability.
  • Identify and document change orders and additional opportunities.
  • Support business development by offering technical expertise during client meetings.
  • Ensure projects are executed within target margins.
  • Oversee project timelines from contract signing to completion.
  • Create and manage project schedules, coordinating labor, materials, and subcontractors.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality and progress.
  • Ensure all work adheres to safety and company standards.
  • Resolve discrepancies, field issues, and customer concerns.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including notes, photos, and reports.
  • Monitor and optimize gross profit performance across assigned projects.
  • Analyze labor efficiency, subcontractor costs, and material usage.
  • Ensure all billable events are accurately recorded and communicated.
  • Review budgets and cost reports to prevent margin erosion.
  • Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate billing and timely collections.
  • Assist in Accounts Receivable efforts for high-priority accounts.
  • Act as a senior point of contact for property owners and insurance adjusters.
  • Preserve strong relationships with carriers and referral partners.
  • Ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 5 years of construction project management and estimating experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Xactimate.
  • Proven track record of managing project financial performance.
  • In-depth knowledge of residential and commercial building systems.
  • Experience supervising and developing team members.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills with carriers.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

  • Willingness to lift up to 70 pounds when necessary.
  • Ability to navigate active construction sites safely.
  • Experience working in various indoor and outdoor conditions.
  • Knowledge of required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators.
