About the role

RIOS is an international design collective dedicated to promoting wellness, sparking joy, and prioritizing ecological health and environmental resilience through interdisciplinary projects. Our practice emphasizes a hyperlocal approach that celebrates unique places and creates lasting positive impact.

Responsibilities

• Assist and develop appropriate design solutions on multiple projects
• Engage in design ideation and iteration, both independently and under the guidance of senior staff
• Promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity throughout the design process
• Represent an architecture project through various 2D and 3D representations, including sketches, plans, and 3D models
• Maintain project objectives, milestones, and deliverables to advance project goals
• Coordinate with a range of consultants to develop architectural concepts from initial ideas to built form
• Create construction documents and perform construction administration

Requirements

• A minimum of 5-8+ years of professional experience
• Bachelor of Architecture degree or Master's of Architecture degree from an accredited college or university
• Experience with Autocad, Rhino, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and REVIT
• Experience mentoring small teams preferred
