Project Designer

About the Role

Designers transform sketches, conceptual designs, mark-ups, and other technical information into complete drawings, details, and construction documents for diverse projects involving engineering, architecture, landscape architecture, and land surveying. They contribute to all stages of project delivery through their training, education, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Interpret construction documents and specifications
• Prepare comprehensive construction documents
• Adhere to drafting standards, building codes, and industry regulations
• Perform technical reviews and execute quality assurance/control processes
• Problem-solve, communicate, and collaborate with peers and project stakeholders

Requirements

• Associate degree or certification in industrial design, landscape design, engineering, architectural fundamentals, or computer-aided design (CAD) (preferred)
• At least 5 years of relevant experience

Skills

• Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, SolidWorks, Revit, SketchUp, or Adobe Creative Suite
• Consistent, competent, and developing abilities in project planning, technical aptitude, and teamwork

Location

This in-person position is based at the Clovis office and requires local travel for meetings and site visits.
