Project Designer

About the role

Mammoth is a NYC-based design-build studio that partners with local residential and commercial clients to reimagine, design, and build the spaces that shape their everyday lives. We're looking for an intermediate-level Project Designer or Architect to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

• Thoughtful, detail-oriented design work
• Strong design instincts and solid aesthetic judgment
• Solid conceptual and design process skills
• Good problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of construction standards and codes, materials, and building systems
• Experience with NYC projects
• Experience using REVIT
• Experience using Autocad (desirable)
• Effective presentation and communication skills
• Collaborative team environment
• Able to meet deadlines and work with integrity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required
• Master’s degree in Architecture preferred
• 3+ years of experience in an Architecture Studio
• Reasonable knowledge of construction standards and codes, materials, and building systems
• Experience with NYC projects
• Experience using REVIT
• Experience using Autocad (desirable)
• Demonstrated ability to create presentations and communicate concepts
• Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
• Able to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
• Able to complete tasks with accuracy and precision and with strong attention to detail
• Able to consistently meet deadlines
• Able to work with integrity, trust, and commitment

Pay

$75,000 - $90,000 annually

Full-time, in-person role in our studio in Dumbo, Brooklyn
