About the role

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is the largest private provider of facility services in North America, managing over 180 million square feet of space daily. We serve industry leaders across retail, industrial and logistics, healthcare, education, manufacturing, and more, helping them maintain clean, efficient, and welcoming spaces that support their operations.

Responsibilities

• Clean hard surface floors (strip, scrub, disinfect, finish)
• Scrub and polish special floor surfaces (e.g., gym floors)
• Clean carpets with steam or shampoo
• Extract carpets using carpet extractor
• Wash windows
• Pressure wash floors/buildings with power washer
• Perform minor wall repairs
• Collect and empty trash
• Service, clean, and restock restrooms
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soap‑water or other cleaners, sponges, and rubber squeegees
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
• Notify managers of the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems
• Request necessary supplies and equipment for cleaning and maintenance tasks
• Provide backup for crew members in territory when needed
• Ability to drive extensively, often within a four‑ to five‑state radius
• Occasional night shifts may be required

Requirements

• Experience in building and warehouse cleaning and maintenance
• Knowledge of proper floor‑care techniques for various floor types (vinyl, tile, carpet, concrete, hardwood)
• Ability to travel (drive) to multiple job sites
• Ability to work nights/days and weekends
• Present and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safety‑data sheets (generally in English; may be in Spanish where required by state)

$20 per hour

Schedule

Days and nights vary, including weekends. Occasional night shifts may be required.
