Schedule

• Days and nights vary, including weekends
• 40–45 hours per week
• Late nights and staggered shifts
• DFW Metroplex area
• Company vehicle and gas card provided
• Extensive travel required, often within a four- to five-state radius
• Occasional overnight shifts may be required

Pay

Starting wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Clean hard-surface floors (sanitize, mop, strip, and finish)
• Scrub and polish specialty floor surfaces (e.g., gym floors)
• Steam-clean or shampoo carpets
• Extract carpet using a carpet extractor
• Wash windows
• Pressure-wash floors and buildings
• Perform minor wall repairs
• Collect and empty trash
• Service, clean, and restock restrooms
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
• Notify managers of needed major repairs or additions to building operating systems
• Request supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
• Provide backup for crew members in territory when needed

Requirements

• Experience in building and warehouse cleaning and maintenance
• Knowledge of proper floor-care techniques for a variety of floor types (e.g., vinyl, tile, carpet, concrete, hardwood)
• Ability to travel (drive) to multiple job sites
• Ability to work nights, days, and weekends
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and chemical safety data sheets (typically in English; may be available in Spanish where required by state)
