Project Cost Controls Engineer, Construction/Development

About the role

This position involves managing and controlling project costs throughout the construction and development phases. Key responsibilities include budgeting, cost estimation, and overseeing financial aspects of projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project budgets and cost estimates
• Monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to budget constraints
• Collaborate with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders
• Manage contract negotiations and ensure compliance with contractual terms related to cost control

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction or development project management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
