About the Role
Perform routine duties and provide support for the IT Department. Schedule is flexible and may require some evening and weekend work.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and updates of Policies and Procedures.
- Assist in special projects as assigned.
- Assist in licensing and certification related to IT functions.
- Assist in the creation of systems, planning, and implementation of programs and services; operational logistics.
- Monitor progress of projects to meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards.
- Assist in managing vendor relationships.
- Proactively mitigate issues by identifying and relaying information to manager.
- Coordinate meetings and maintain/update agendas, minutes, and plans.
- Compile information and prepare and maintain logs, files, and records; review and verify the accuracy and completeness of various documents; prepare routine reports as directed.
- Perform a variety of routine clerical duties including typing, filing, scanning, faxing, duplicating, and distributing materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the IT Manager.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- One year of clinic operations or healthcare experience.
- Commitment to goals and philosophy of Northeast Community Clinic.
- Valid State Identification.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel from facility to facility.
- This position requires 10% travel outside the local area.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Word/Excel/Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
- Ability to work as a team player and independently.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- OSHA Category 3 – Involves no regular exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues, and tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues are not a condition of employment.
- The work is mostly sedentary in nature.
- Regularly required to communicate, frequently required to use repetitive motions, move, remain stationary.
- Regularly push, pull, and lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally push, pull, and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Must possess mobility to work in a standard office/clinic setting (in some cases both settings) and to use standard office/clinic equipment, including a computer.
- Stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, read printed materials, and use a computer.
- Communicate in person and over the telephone.
