About the Role

Perform routine duties and provide support for the IT Department. Schedule is flexible and may require some evening and weekend work.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and updates of Policies and Procedures.
  • Assist in special projects as assigned.
  • Assist in licensing and certification related to IT functions.
  • Assist in the creation of systems, planning, and implementation of programs and services; operational logistics.
  • Monitor progress of projects to meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards.
  • Assist in managing vendor relationships.
  • Proactively mitigate issues by identifying and relaying information to manager.
  • Coordinate meetings and maintain/update agendas, minutes, and plans.
  • Compile information and prepare and maintain logs, files, and records; review and verify the accuracy and completeness of various documents; prepare routine reports as directed.
  • Perform a variety of routine clerical duties including typing, filing, scanning, faxing, duplicating, and distributing materials.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the IT Manager.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • One year of clinic operations or healthcare experience.
  • Commitment to goals and philosophy of Northeast Community Clinic.
  • Valid State Identification.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel from facility to facility.
  • This position requires 10% travel outside the local area.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Word/Excel/Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
  • Ability to work as a team player and independently.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • OSHA Category 3 – Involves no regular exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues, and tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues are not a condition of employment.
  • The work is mostly sedentary in nature.
  • Regularly required to communicate, frequently required to use repetitive motions, move, remain stationary.
  • Regularly push, pull, and lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally push, pull, and lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Must possess mobility to work in a standard office/clinic setting (in some cases both settings) and to use standard office/clinic equipment, including a computer.
  • Stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, read printed materials, and use a computer.
  • Communicate in person and over the telephone.
