Project Coordinator - Construction

Overview Job Description The Construction Coordinator reports directly to the Real Estate and Construction Projects Manager. The primary focus of this position is to assist in the management and coordination of the construction department and deal making process. Position requires a self-starter, detail driven, reliable, trustworthy and conscientious individual with significant understanding of construction practices, financial procedures, legal processes, and basic research concepts. Position reports into our Store Support Office in Phoenix, AZ. Hybrid schedule, in ofifce Tuesday - Thursday. Overview Of Responsibilities Support Construction Project Managers projects success [new stores & remodels]Log bids on bid comparison formLOI to GC after bid is awarded (within 10 business days)Create refrigeration contracts and request purchase ordersCompile documents and prepare GC construction contract using AIA software; follow up on signaturesLog preliminary notice of services from contractors (pre-liens)Log/review pay apps from GC’sRequest pay apps via WorkDayReceive and pay refrigeration and other invoices through WorkDayCompile pay applications and backup information to submit billing requests for tenant improvement allowancesRequest and monitor close-out packages from all parties involved in projectsFinal invoices from direct buy vendors and architectsClose out package from GC to architectClose out package from LL to architectProjects should be closed out within 60 days of grand openingSupply GC subcontractor list to Facilities team post grand openingEstablish utility transfer between RDD and turnover date with InsightEstablish Emerson Temp Monitoring setup between RDD and turnover dateUpdate and monitor project costs on a monthly basis and report to team realty leadershipAssist with vendor setup if necessaryUpdate and distribute construction schedule on a monthly basisSecuring final addresses for all locations and communicating to the business prior to RDDAbility to compile and report data intended for benchmarking, research and analytical thinking throughout the departmentCoordinate the process of finding, developing, implementing and training all department and vendors on new Construction management collaborative websiteAssist in the creation of training materials for internal and external construction teamsPrimary contact and resource for information in regard to departmental issuesAnticipate and solve issues with departmental hardware and software equipment Order and assist in all equipment and software needsWorks closely with internal departments including Legal, Real Estate, IT, Tax and Audit Assist in creating and issuing policy manuals, monitor construction project management practicesAssist in creating and training all construction team members on new processes and systems as it relates to productivity and job performance Qualifications High School Diploma with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in retail construction and construction administrationPreferred knowledge of bids and proposal processesIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft OfficeExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to maintain strict confidentiality of business information Benefits In addition to a rewarding career, Sprouts offers a comprehensive program to help support you and your family.
