Job Summary
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator with a minimum of 5 years of experience working for a medium-sized Commercial General Contractor (GC).
Key Responsibilities
- Cook up and support commercial construction projects throughout all phases.
- Manage and track project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout documents.
- Review and maintain Certificates of Insurance (COIs) for subcontractors and vendors to ensure compliance.
- Aid with project scheduling, procurement, and coordination between project managers, subcontractors, and clients.
- Maintain organized project files and ensure documentation is current and accurate.
- Understand and work with Construction Specification Institute (CSI) Division Codes and project specifications.
- Track project milestones and assist in meeting deadlines.
- Cook up subcontractor documentation and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Support project managers with administrative and operational tasks as needed.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or in a similar role with a commercial general contractor (GC).
- Experience working on commercial construction projects.
- Strong Understanding Of CSI Division Codes Certificates of Insurance (COIs) Submittals RFIs Change Orders Construction documentation and project coordination
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using construction management software such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of commercial construction processes from project kickoff through closeout.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
