About the role
Support major infrastructure projects in Southern Nevada as a Project Coordinator, focusing on early procurement activities and coordination between stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate early procurement activities for owner-furnished and contractor-furnished equipment to support project schedule milestones and critical path requirements.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Owner, CM team, contractors, vendors, and manufacturers to facilitate equipment procurement, delivery, and installation planning.
- Track procurement status from design release through fabrication, shipment, delivery, and turnover, maintaining accurate procurement logs and status reports.
- Review procurement schedules and equipment lead times to identify potential risks and proactively recommend mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate submittals, shop drawing reviews, technical approvals, and owner decision-making processes to prevent procurement delays.
- Facilitate regular procurement coordination meetings and communicate equipment status, open issues, and action items to project stakeholders.
- Monitor vendor commitments, manufacturing progress, and delivery schedules to ensure alignment with project construction sequencing.
- Support contract administration activities by tracking purchase orders, change requests, procurement documentation, and vendor correspondence.
- Collaborate with construction managers and field teams to coordinate equipment receiving, storage requirements, logistics planning, and installation readiness.
Requirements
- 4-year degree in Business (or equivalent) and 8-10 years of experience in an administrative capacity, preferably in the assigned area of specialty.
- Strong written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in keyboard skills and utilization of MS Windows, word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
- Ability to administer a variety of activities simultaneously, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Competency in documenting text and diagrams for business requirements, business processes, and data models (Microsoft Visio or equivalent).

Pay
Salary Range: $26.59 - $46.54 per hour.
