Project Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Aid in project planning, scheduling, and execution.
  • Create and update project schedules, timelines, and milestone charts.
  • Coordinate project activities, including scheduling meetings and managing documentation.
  • Act as the primary liaison for project inquiries and communication.
  • Facilitate communication among project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Organize and attend project meetings, documenting action items and follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate and updated project documentation, including plans, budgets, timelines, and meeting minutes.
  • Prepare and distribute regular project status reports.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, expenses, and resources.
  • Schedule project team members and resources.
  • Resolve project risks and delays, developing mitigation strategies.
  • Track and report on project progress.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and regulations.
  • Support quality assurance efforts by tracking project deliverables.
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders, managing their expectations.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, and reports.
  • Identify and suggest process improvements and operational efficiencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or administration, preferably within construction, IT, or engineering industries.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Confidentiality and sensitivity to handling information.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing project requirements and fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification or similar project management certifications.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of project budgeting and financial tracking.
