Who You Are
- Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or equivalent years of experience.
- 3-5 years project controls or project accounting experience on large-scale projects.
- Navigate reporting & BI Tools: Microsoft Excel is required.
- Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with the ability to present clearly to stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Work Style: Self-starter who thrives in a hybrid work environment and can manage competing priorities with minimal supervision.
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Impact
- Work under the direction of the Project Managers to support the planning, coordination, and evaluation of project financial reporting.
- Review Power BI and/or Tableau dashboards to visualize project health and key performance indicators.
- Understand contract requirements and ensure adherence to terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to evaluate cost-saving options and recommend value-added changes to optimize project costs.
- Communicate project status and cost performance to Project Managers.
- Attend project review meetings with stakeholders.
- Maintain financial reports for individual project subtasks and provide roll-up summary reports.
- Review funding and procurement documentation to ensure conformance to approved project budgets.
- Manage change order processes and assess the impact of proposed changes on project costs and schedules.
- Assist Project Managers with invoice review and collections.
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

Pay
Expected Salary (all locations): $94,300 - $112,400
