About the role

We are seeking a Project Controls Scheduler II to join our Power sector team. This role will assist the Project Manager or Project Controls Manager in monitoring project aspects with high energy and great attention to detail. You will develop, evaluate, compile, and present schedule data, and utilize such data to develop schedules for the execution of work for small to medium-size projects. You will also monitor and document construction progress, providing written summary progress reports of the schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Aid the Project Manager or Project Controls Manager in monitoring project aspects with high energy and great attention to detail.
  • Develop, evaluate, compile, and present schedule data, and utilize such data to develop schedules for the execution of work for small to medium-size projects.
  • Maintain and update project schedules, ensuring they align with project goals and timelines.
  • Monitor and document construction progress, providing written summary progress reports of the schedule.
  • Participate in project coordination meetings to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with scheduling concepts of related work activities, logic diagrams, schedule resources, schedule milestones, level of effort, and general presentation of schedules in various formats.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Construction Scheduling experience.
  • Ability to interpret construction schedules.
  • Familiarity with other scheduling software.
  • Experience with cost and resource loaded schedules.
  • Certifications (one or more): CST, CCT, CACM, CMIT, CDT, PSP, EVP, PMI-SP, EIT, PMP.
  • Cost control background.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred 5+ years of Construction Scheduling experience.
  • Preferred Ability to interpret construction schedules.
  • Preferred Familiarity with other scheduling software.
  • Preferred Experience with cost and resource loaded schedules.
  • Preferred Certifications (one or more): CST, CCT, CACM, CMIT, CDT, PSP, EVP, PMI-SP, EIT, PMP.
  • Preferred Cost control background.

Skills

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Strong knowledge of scheduling concepts, including logic diagrams, schedule resources, schedule milestones, level of effort, and general presentation of schedules in various formats.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera, MS Project, and other relevant tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
