About the role
This is not a remote job. Must be able to work on site every day in Taylor, TX.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain multiple project reports (both internal & client) on a weekly basis
- Develop and maintain multiple reports on weekly and monthly labor progress and performance reports (both internal and client), project cost tracking reports for indirect labor and subcontracts
- Assist with development and maintenance of change management system including change orders, budget shifts, and trends including contingency management
- Timely and accurate forward-looking analysis and mitigation plan development to reduce or eliminate unforeseen cost impacts
- Actively participate in reviews of all project controls deliverables with the project team
- Assist management in forecasting the project expected costs for monthly reporting purposes
- Develop and maintain progress tracking tool
- Perform data audits to ensure accuracy of information
- Establish key performance indicators (and/or strengthen details and definitions of existing KPI) and metrics to monitor project performance and operational health
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Project Controls
- Possess thorough working knowledge of scheduling and costing principles
- Proficiency in MS Office and HIGH LEVEL EXCEL SKILLS (Pivot Table, Macros, etc.)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, Project Management, or related field, preferred or equivalent work experience, required
- Strong understanding of project management and process design principles and construction practices
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and utilize hand and finger dexterity

- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, including protective eye wear, hard hat, gloves, steel-toed shoes, and hearing protection
- Must be able to safely access and traverse indoor and outdoor obstacles for site inspections, including climbing ladders, walking on stairs, catwalks, and other types of uneven surfaces where activity inspections are needed
