Full-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: headings

for sections like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use

for prose. Do NOT repeat job title as heading. Do NOT put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings; fold minor metadata into short

or drop it. Preserve all substantive info; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. Include a section ONLY when posting has real, specific content for it — never emit heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g., "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD") and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless posting actually states them. Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. We need to parse the posting. Travel will be minimum 25%. - Additional Details: Some relocation assistance may be available if the selected candidate currently resides outside the area. - About Southern Company: description of company, mission, values, etc. Also mention benefits: "Southern Company invests in the well-being of its employees and their families through a comprehensive total rewards strategy that includes competitive base salary, annual incentive awards for eligible employees and health, welfare and retirement benefits designed to support physical, financial, and emotional/social well-being. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation, such as an incentive program, with the amount of any bonus/awards subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan(s). A summary of the benefits offered for this position can be found here https://seo.nlx.org/southernco/pdf/SOCO-Benefits.pdf . Additional and specific details about total compensation and benefits will also be provided during the hiring process." Thus we have some benefits info (competitive base salary, annual incentive awards, health, welfare, retirement benefits). Also mention additional compensation/incentive program. No specific pay numbers. So we can include a Benefits section with bullet list of benefits described. Pay section: we have no specific pay numbers; we have mention of competitive base salary, annual incentive awards, additional compensation. The instruction: never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. It does state benefits (competitive base salary, annual incentive awards, health, welfare, retirement benefits). So we can create a Benefits section. Pay: we have mention of competitive base salary, annual incentive awards, additional compensation. That's somewhat pay info but not specific numbers. Should we create a Pay section? The instruction says never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. It does state "competitive base salary, annual incentive awards". That is pay-related. However they also say "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." Might combine Pay and Benefits? But they have separate headings list: Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We could create a Benefits section that includes the compensation details. Or we could create a Pay section with "competitive base salary, annual incentive awards, potential incentive program". However the posting also mentions benefits like health, welfare, retirement. So we could have both Pay and Benefits sections. But we need to avoid filler. The posting does not give specific pay numbers, but does mention competitive base salary etc. That's substantive enough? Might be considered placeholder? It's not "commensurate with experience" etc. It's a statement of competitive base salary etc. I'd say it's okay to include a Pay section with that info. However we need to avoid duplication: if we put both Pay and Benefits, we might repeat similar info. Could combine into one Benefits section that includes compensation and benefits. The instruction: "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." So better to have fewer sections. Let's create sections: About the role (maybe Job Summary), Responsibilities, Requirements (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills), Benefits (including compensation and benefits). Possibly also Work Location/Travel? Could be part of About the role or a separate section like "Work Location & Travel". But headings list includes only those specific headings; we can use others? The instruction: use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It says e.g., implying those are examples but we can use those headings. It doesn't forbid other headings, but likely they expect those. We'll stick to those. We need to decide which sections to include based on content. - About the role: could include Job Summary and maybe work location? The job summary is about oversight. Work location could be separate but we could incorporate into About the role. - Responsibilities: list of key job responsibilities. - Requirements: could include Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills. - Benefits: include compensation and benefits info. - Pay: maybe not needed if we include compensation in Benefits. - Schedule: we have Job Schedule: Full time (mentioned at bottom). Also maybe travel %? But schedule is full time. So we could include Schedule section with "Full time". However the instruction: never create Schedule section unless posting actually states them. It does state "Job Schedule: Full time". So we can include Schedule. Thus we could have sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Benefits, Schedule. We need to avoid duplication and boilerplate. Remove EEO etc. Also remove "About Southern Company" description? That's company overview; could be considered boilerplate? It's substantive about company but not directly about the role. The instruction: remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. The "About Southern Company" is not boilerplate per se, but it's company description. Might be considered okay to keep? It's not about the role but could be considered filler. However it's substantive info about the company. The instruction says preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. So we should keep it. But where to put? Could be part of About the role or a separate section like "About the Company". Not in the list of headings but we could still use

for About the Company? The instruction says use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It doesn't forbid other headings, but they gave examples. Safer to stick to those headings. We could incorporate company description into About the role section. Thus About the role will include job summary, work location, travel, maybe company description. Now we need to format lists. Let's extract details: Work location: "This position will be located in the Atlanta metro area, however candidates living outside of the area may be considered with the expectation that they could successfully telework and would be willing to travel to work and/or field location on a routine (to be determined) and as-needed basis. This position will require a mix of both field and office work. Some office work can be performed remotely (telework/work from home)." Job Summary: "This position is responsible for the oversight of the Project Shared Services Thermal Cost team for the assigned region. This includes: Providing direction and implementation of Project Controls Cost policies, standards, and procedures. Ensuring Project Controls Cost deliverables meet and/or exceed stakeholder expectations. Providing strategic planning for all aspects of project cost tracking / analyzing. This position may have full time and/or supplemental direct reports." We can combine. Responsibilities list: - Cost Management: Supervises the Cost Team for the assigned region and ensures Project Controls standards are being met. - Cost Reporting: Oversees the project cost reporting for the assigned region. Ensures all projects receive accurate and timely cost reports needed to support effective project management. - Customer Relations: Serves as interface between Project Controls and customers. Implements recommended actions and improvements within their assigned region. Works closely with other Team Leads to ensure consistent implementation of Project Controls deliverables. Exhibits ability to work well with project managers, portfolio managers, procurement, engineering, construction, project controls, and accounting personnel. - Strategic Planning: Proactively investigates shortcomings and unserved needs and prepares recommendations and business cases as appropriate. Assesses effectiveness of improvement initiatives post-implementation and plans corrective actions as appropriate. Communicates strategic plans to ensure understanding and shared vision. - Performance Management: Supervises and manages daily activities of a team of
