About the role
We are seeking a Project Control Specialist to support a post-quantum computing office. This role functions as a project manager, focused on planning, scheduling, and tracking deliverables across at least three distinct workstreams. The specialist will coordinate efforts for the post-quantum, crypto modernization, and architecture teams, ensuring project objectives are met in alignment with policy and requirements. This position requires significant coordination across organizations and communication with senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and integrate operations and program budgeting.
- Track, coordinate, and communicate tasks and due dates for deliverables.
- Integrate activities across different organizations, compiling data and producing reports.
- Track tasks using an enterprise task management system, such as CATMS.
- Develop briefings, talking points, and presentations for clients and senior leaders.
- Act as a key interface for program and project matters, particularly for products and coordination.
- Collaborate with industry partners and vendors to support project goals.
- Balance multiple workstreams and work collaboratively across teams.
Requirements
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoW TS/SCI clearance.
- Master’s degree and 12+ years of professional experience, OR
- Bachelor's degree and 14+ years of professional experience, OR
- 18+ years of professional experience in lieu of a degree.
Skills
- Experience with team leadership, including tracking and coordinating tasks.
- Experience with an enterprise task management system.
- Experience supporting and communicating with senior leaders.
- Administrative or action officer experience is suitable; the role is focused on task management rather than executive assistance.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity policies and principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the DoW CIO, OSW, or a Military Command.
- Experience with Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS).
- Knowledge of Post Quantum Cryptography (PQC).
- Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
Schedule
This is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence at the Pentagon three days a week, with two days of remote work.
