About the role

We are seeking a Project Control Specialist to support a post-quantum computing office. This role functions as a project manager, focused on planning, scheduling, and tracking deliverables across at least three distinct workstreams. The specialist will coordinate efforts for the post-quantum, crypto modernization, and architecture teams, ensuring project objectives are met in alignment with policy and requirements. This position requires significant coordination across organizations and communication with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and integrate operations and program budgeting.
  • Track, coordinate, and communicate tasks and due dates for deliverables.
  • Integrate activities across different organizations, compiling data and producing reports.
  • Track tasks using an enterprise task management system, such as CATMS.
  • Develop briefings, talking points, and presentations for clients and senior leaders.
  • Act as a key interface for program and project matters, particularly for products and coordination.
  • Collaborate with industry partners and vendors to support project goals.
  • Balance multiple workstreams and work collaboratively across teams.

Requirements

  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoW TS/SCI clearance.
  • Master’s degree and 12+ years of professional experience, OR
  • Bachelor's degree and 14+ years of professional experience, OR
  • 18+ years of professional experience in lieu of a degree.

Skills

  • Experience with team leadership, including tracking and coordinating tasks.
  • Experience with an enterprise task management system.
  • Experience supporting and communicating with senior leaders.
  • Administrative or action officer experience is suitable; the role is focused on task management rather than executive assistance.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity policies and principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the DoW CIO, OSW, or a Military Command.
  • Experience with Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS).
  • Knowledge of Post Quantum Cryptography (PQC).
  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills.

Schedule

This is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence at the Pentagon three days a week, with two days of remote work.
