About the role

Trueline's client, a growing transportation and infrastructure consulting firm supporting major public transit initiatives, is seeking a Project/Construction Manager - Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) to join their team in the Seattle, Washington area. This is a highly visible opportunity to lead complex transit infrastructure projects while helping expand the firm's long-term presence in the Pacific Northwest market.

Responsibilities

  • Lead construction-phase execution for Bus Rapid Transit and transportation infrastructure projects
  • Manage schedules, budgets, contractor performance, quality control, and project coordination activities
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, transit agencies, municipalities, contractors, and operations stakeholders
  • Support operational readiness and transit service implementation efforts
  • Identify and resolve field construction issues related to scope, schedule, safety, constructability, and cost
  • Oversee stakeholder communication and maintain strong relationships across public and private project teams
  • Cover procurement activities, risk management efforts, and project reporting
  • Represent the company as a key regional leader supporting long-term market growth initiatives

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project or construction management experience within transportation, infrastructure, heavy civil, or public works projects
  • Strong experience managing active construction operations and contractor coordination
  • Background supporting complex infrastructure or transit-related programs
  • Knowledge of project delivery methods, scheduling, construction processes, and contract administration
  • Experience working with public agencies, municipalities, or transit authorities
  • Strong communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities
  • Able to work independently while managing multiple priorities and project stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Direct Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project experience
  • Experience supporting rail, transit, or public transportation infrastructure projects
  • Familiarity with Washington State transportation regulations and permitting requirements
  • Heavy civil or utility infrastructure experience
  • Experience working within the Pacific Northwest market
  • Background in civil engineering, construction management, or transportation systems
