Project Architect - Residential Luxury Homes

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and management of BIM models and construction documentation in Revit for residential projects, ensuring alignment with project milestones
  • Coordinate internal teams and external consultants (structural, MEP, civil) to integrate drawings, resolve clashes, and maintain coordinated BIM models
  • Produce and oversee permit-ready documentation and construction sets, incorporating code compliance reviews and design revisions
  • Perform QA/QC on drawings and models to ensure consistency with company standards, best practices, and project requirements before submissions
  • Support project delivery through RFI responses, submittals, and construction administration tasks
  • Mentor & manage junior staff and foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment
  • Maintain schedule adherence and contribute to the overall success of project delivery

Requirements

  • Required Qualifications:
  • Professional architecture degree (B.Arch and/or M.Arch)
  • Experience managing a team
  • 11-14 years of professional architectural experience with at least 5 years focused on residential architecture
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit for BIM model development and construction documentation
  • Experience with custom single-family homes, ADUs, and residential rebuilds
  • Experience producing permit-ready residential construction document sets and supporting permitting in LA County
  • Strong understanding of residential construction methods and detailing
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Willing and able to perform as-needed on-site jobsite visits
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam and Procore
  • Licensed Architect in California
  • On track for California architect licensure

Pay

$90,000 - $125,000 depending on experience
