Project Architect/Project Manager (Architect)- Aviation

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a team through the more technical aspects of a project
• Use Revit and Bluebeam for 3D modeling
• Follow and manage project budgets, including client and internal budgets
• Create and execute project plans, milestone schedules, and staffing
• Collaborate with Project Manager and Construction Team on cost estimates, construction sequencing, and constructability
• Lead internal continuing education sessions and lessons learned initiatives
• Research and assist with specific building systems
• Work closely with Project Designer to ensure the vision and spirit of the design are met
• Lead and/or delegate construction administration
• Mentor and train younger staff

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant architecture experience
• College graduate with relevant, NAAB accredited degree
• Professional registration
• Frequent physical demands such as sitting, standing, lifting up to 10 lbs, operating computers, and participating in meetings
• Ability to travel or co-locate as needed

• Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor others
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency with Revit and Bluebeam
• Understanding of zoning, building, life safety, accessibility, and energy codes
• Experience with project planning, budgeting, and construction sequencing
