About the role
Workshop Meng is a collaborative, process-driven office offering numerous growth opportunities. They seek an ambitious individual with a high design sensibility, strong communication skills, and a well-rounded personality prepared to take on various roles.
Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of design, including rendering and detailing construction working drawings.
- Lead project design development and construction document processes, collaborating with junior staff and engineers.
- Collaborate with the team on presentation drawings and construction documents.
- Communicate with external vendors.
Qualifications
- 3 to 8 years of direct, relevant, practical professional experience.
- Experience in preparing or leading production of drawing sets.
- Ability to build positive relationships, both internally and externally, with integrity, respect, humor, and responsibility.
- Fluency in Revit, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and proficiency in additional digital rendering tools and office software.
- A degree from a NAAB-accredited Architecture program.
- Exceptional design skills.
- Willingness to teach and learn.
- Enthusiasm, passion, and curiosity.
- Excellent communication, time management, prioritization, and organizational skills, completing projects on time with precision and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of an effective team, assisting and supporting team members.
