About the role

Our New York office is currently seeking highly skilled Project Architects and Designers with 6-10 years of professional experience and very strong Revit capabilities. We are looking for candidates that have demonstrated experience in multi-family high-rise residential and mixed-use development. This position provides the opportunity to take on a leadership role within your team, collaborating with senior team members on projects with a high level of design.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day coordination with project team, including consultants
  • Work closely with Project Manager to bring the project from feasibility and concept design through documentation and construction administration
  • Collaborate with design team in producing design documents and presentations for client and consultant meetings
  • Direct and mentor junior staff
  • Meet and manage client needs, in coordination with the various design team members and the construction team

Qualifications

  • Professional degree in Architecture
  • 6-10 years of professional experience, preferably in multi-family residential and mixed-use developments
  • Revit proficiency & experience managing model and coordination with multiple consultants
  • Fluency with AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Experience in 3-D modeling and rendering (Rhino, Enscape, Grasshopper, D5) preferred
  • Excellent graphic presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with an aptitude for team collaboration and problem solving
  • Strong critical thinking skills, an ability to carry out design concept to realization
  • Working knowledge of NYC building codes, zoning, ADA requirements, and other applicable standards

Pay

Salary range: $85,000-$100,000 commensurate with experience
