About the role
Corgan is actively recruiting a dynamic Project Architect to join the firm as part of our Data Centers team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in commercial architecture, including experience managing large teams on large-scale projects.
Responsibilities
- Tackle coordination and integration of architectural and consultant construction documents including redlining, detail review, QA/QC check, and consultant coordination
- Generate creative design solutions within the functional parameters of a project
- Translate concepts and information into images
- Execute the process of preparing and completing usable construction document detailing solutions
- Aid in the creation and management of project schedules
- Develop and present appropriate technical solutions to stakeholders
- Aid in leading project studio team members, leveraging strengths, and providing mentorship
- Work proactively to resolve issues that arise between project, design, and technical objectives of the project, in coordination with the Project Manager
- Demonstrate understanding of appropriate industry standards and construction practice
- Apply knowledge of construction methods and timelines
- Maintain awareness of, and appropriately apply, new methodologies, practices, codes, and products
- Attend and conduct presentations
- Manage client relations
Requirements
- Professional, NAAB accredited degree in Architecture or equivalent
- Professional registration or anticipation of registration
- Experience preparing all stages of design documentation, performing construction administration, and consultant coordination
- Proficiency or experience with managing overall project fees and schedules
- Revit proficiency strongly preferred; experience with other 3D software is a plus
- High commitment to QA/QC
- Ability to lead and collaborate in a diverse project team environment
- Efficient with coordinating project deliverables and client expectations
- Strong marketing and client relations experience and capabilities
- Exhibit strengths in master planning, conceptual design, and technical excellence
- Thorough understanding of how a drawing set goes together
- Acumen for how things are built and constructability, and the ability to apply that knowledge to support the project design and budget
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Flexible attitude and ability to juggle multiple priorities is essential

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This role is an in-office position requiring the employee to be physically present at the assigned office location Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Regular, reliable on-site attendance is an essential function of this role.
