Project Architect — Custom Residential

About the role

We’re a small, award-winning architecture and interior design studio specializing in high-end, custom residential projects. Our work is detail-driven, collaborative, and built on strong relationships with clients and consultants. We care about how things turn out and remain involved throughout construction.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the principals and staff to guide projects through design development, construction documents, and construction, with a focus on detailing, coordination, and execution.
• Skills in problem-solving to ensure that the design intent is translated into clear, buildable, and well-coordinated drawings are essential.
• Production of construction documents for high-end residential projects
• Developing and reviewing sections, wall assemblies, and architectural details
• Resolving technical and construction challenges
• Coincating closely with consultants and contractors
• Setting and maintaining documentation standards across the studio
• Participating in construction administration, site visits, and field coordination

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's of Architecture from an accredited institution
• Comprehensive experience in high-end or custom residential architecture
• Strong track record in detailing, technical leadership, and construction documentation from development to construction
• Comfortable coordinating and reviewing drawing sets from development to construction
• Able to make informed decisions and support others
• Clear, calm communication and a highly organized, detail-oriented approach

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD
