Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and coordinate construction drawings, finish plans, specifications, and material selections.
- Collaborate with clients on project requirements and design intent.
- Ensure compliance with building, ADA, and city codes.
- Cookinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and city agencies during plan check and construction phases.
- Monitor drawing quality, maintain project documentation, and support project administration.
- Mentor and oversee junior designers and production staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in corporate interiors.
- Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Knowledge of construction documentation, ADA/building codes, and city permitting processes.
- Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Strong experience in spec suites, tenant build-outs, and workplace interiors.
Travel Requirements
- Travel includes on-site field surveys throughout the greater Los Angeles area, with occasional travel across California or other states as needed.
- Mileage and approved travel expenses will be reimbursed, with per diem provided when applicable.
- Must possess a valid driver's license, good driving record, and reliable transportation.
