Project Architect

About the role

The Project Architect position supports and leads architects through the design of small to mid-sized projects, including directing, supervising, and mentoring staff towards the delivery of complete and accurate design documents that meet projects' milestones and goals within designated timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Works in tandem with clients, architects, design project managers, designers, development, construction, and consultants.
• Sets up and leads the design process for small to mid-size projects.
• Creates comprehensive and detailed sets of design documents to meet project goals, milestones, and schedules.
• Manages and coordinates Ryan's Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) process and project specifications.
• Identifies and communicates project deviations.
• Collaborates effectively and sets an example for others.
• Establishes and pursues annual goals based on personal, professional, and company growth.
• Pursues project goals of design excellence, execution, and sustainability.
• Directs, supervises, and mentors junior staff.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant work experience.
• A bachelor's (or master's) degree in architecture and architectural licensure.
• Strong knowledge of Revit, Building Codes, Documentation, and Constructability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bluebeam knowledge preferred.
• Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP) and/or WELL Accredited Professional (WELL AP) Certification(s).

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with project management software.

Pay

The base salary may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
