About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Project Architect to join our dynamic engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong background in architectural design and project management. You will be responsible for overseeing all stages of the project, from initial concept and design to final completion.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design process, from conceptual design through overall completion of projects.
- Generate and manage detailed construction documents in compliance with building codes and industry standards.
- Utilize Revit, AutoCad, Enscape, and other relevant software to create and modify architectural plans.
- Collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure projects meet all goals, including timelines, budgets, and quality.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring all milestones are met within the specified timeframe.
- Implement LEED and other sustainable design principles into projects.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives.
- Resolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions.
- Maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and meeting notes.
- Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with design, pre-established standards, and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an architectural role, preferably within the engineering industry.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCad, Enscape, and other relevant design software.
- In-depth knowledge of building codes, construction documents, and LEED.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- An innovative mindset, with the ability to solve complex design issues with practical solutions.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a strong focus on quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional registration as an Architect is preferred.
