About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Project Architect to join our dynamic engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong background in architectural design and project management. You will be responsible for overseeing all stages of the project, from initial concept and design to final completion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architectural design process, from conceptual design through overall completion of projects.
  • Generate and manage detailed construction documents in compliance with building codes and industry standards.
  • Utilize Revit, AutoCad, Enscape, and other relevant software to create and modify architectural plans.
  • Collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure projects meet all goals, including timelines, budgets, and quality.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring all milestones are met within the specified timeframe.
  • Implement LEED and other sustainable design principles into projects.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives.
  • Resolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions.
  • Maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and meeting notes.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with design, pre-established standards, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an architectural role, preferably within the engineering industry.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCad, Enscape, and other relevant design software.
  • In-depth knowledge of building codes, construction documents, and LEED.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • An innovative mindset, with the ability to solve complex design issues with practical solutions.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a strong focus on quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional registration as an Architect is preferred.
